1. Introduction

LoanFitter ("we," "us," "our") operates the loanfitter.com website, a free service that connects people looking for a personal loan with a network of vetted lending partners. We are not a lender or a broker and we do not make credit decisions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using our site or submitting a form, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide: when you use our matching form we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, the loan purpose and amount you are interested in, and other information relevant to a lending match.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, we collect device and usage information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring links) and campaign attribution parameters that tell us which advertisement or partner referred you. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Consent records: to document your consent to be contacted, we capture the time of your submission, the consent language you agreed to, and independent consent-certification tokens (for example, TrustedForm) that record how the form was completed.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: match you with lending partners that may be able to fund your request; connect you with the partners you select; contact you about loan options consistent with the consent you gave; respond to your questions; improve our matching service; detect and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations.

A soft inquiry we or our partners may run to gauge preliminary fit does not affect your credit score. A hard credit inquiry only occurs if you choose to formally apply with a lender. We never sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Information

Lending partners: your details are shared with the specific vetted lending partners relevant to your request so they can present offers and follow up — and, where you choose specific partners, only with those partners.

Service providers: we use vendors that help us operate the service (hosting, communications delivery, consent certification, analytics, fraud prevention). They may process your information only to provide services to us.

Legal: we may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We never sell your personal information, and mobile opt-in data is never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Calls, Email & Text Messaging (TCPA)

With your consent, LoanFitter and its lending partners may contact you by phone, email, or SMS about loan options that may be a fit — even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect other ways we may contact you unless you tell us otherwise.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and campaign attribution. Our Cookie Policy explains what we use and how to manage it.

7. Data Security & Retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle, including bank-level encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, document consent as required by law and carrier rules, and meet our legal obligations — after which it is deleted or de-identified.

8. Your Choices & Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time using the contact options on our site.

California residents: you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If you are located in a jurisdiction with additional privacy rights (for example, the EU/UK), we honor applicable access, rectification, erasure, and objection rights.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
